Kirkcudbright Canoe Club (the “Club”) may take photographs and videos during activities, training sessions, and events to promote the Club and its activities. These images (if consent is given) may be used on our website, social media channels, promotional materials, and other Club-related communications.
In accordance with UK data protection laws, we require your consent to use any images in which you or your child (if under 18) may appear. We collect this in the membership form when you join the club.
If you give consent you agree that
- Images and videos may be used for Club-related promotional purposes only.
- No personal details (such as names) will be shared alongside images unless explicit consent is given.
- You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the Club via kirkcudbrightcanoeclub@gmail.com
- You can request photos of yourself or your child be removed at any time by contacting the club via kirkcudbrightcanoeclub@gmail.com regardless of whether consent was previously given.
Please note that other members may take photographs during our events. We kindly request that all members ensure they have obtained permission from any individuals featured in their photos before sharing them on social media.
If a photo is posted in our Facebook group without the appropriate consent and this is brought to our attention, the image will be removed.
